A major problem solving groundwater problems is the lack of direct data and information. Because of that a sound and robust conceptual model is of outmost importance to find adequate solutions. This conceptual model has to be tested against field data and it has to be updated and modified regularly. For this field data has to be re-evaluated and data-need has to be defined.
